- ✓200 ml BBQ sauce
- ✓100 ml Apple cider vinegar
- ✓50 ml Soy sauce
- ✓2 tbsp Brown sugar

- ✓1 tsp Onion powder
- ✓1 tsp Smoked paprika powder
- ✓1 tsp Black pepper
- ✓to taste Salt

Remove the membrane from the bone side of the ribs (if present). Rub the ribs well with salt, pepper, paprika powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika powder.

For the marinade, mix together BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, soy sauce, and brown sugar. Generously brush the ribs with this mixture.

Wrap the marinated ribs in cling film and let them marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours (preferably overnight).

Preheat the oven to 150°C (300°F) with top and bottom heat.

Place the marinated ribs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper (possibly on a rack above to allow air circulation).

Cook in the oven for 2-3 hours until the meat is very tender and easily pulls away from the bone. Brush with the remaining marinade occasionally.

After cooking, remove the ribs from the oven. Either finish on the grill over high heat or under the hot oven grill (220°C / 428°F) for 5-10 minutes until they develop a nice crust. Be careful, they can burn quickly!
