- ✓500 ml Beef broth
- ✓2 tbsp Oil or lard

- ✓1 piece Red bell pepper (optional)
- ✓1 piece Green bell pepper (optional)

Cut the meat into approximately 3 cm cubes.

Finely chop the onions.

In a large pot, heat oil or lard and brown the meat in portions, then remove and set aside.

Sauté the onions in the same pot until translucent.

Add tomato paste, sweet and hot paprika powder, and caraway seeds, and briefly roast.

Deglaze with beef broth and add the meat back in.

Season with salt and pepper and let simmer covered for about 1.5 hours until the meat is tender.

Optional: Cut the bell peppers into strips and add them about 30 minutes before the end of cooking time.
